You may not be much of a music person, but there’ll always
be a few songs special to your heart.
Some you would’ve grown up listening to. Some you heard them
in your parents wedding video. Few you would’ve mugged up in your childhood knowing
no sense of the lyrics you repeated. Some might have been special for your
first crush, love, date or friendship. On some of them you must have performed
on a school function, a picnic or your ragging day of your college. Then
there’d be a boss’s favorite, spouse’s favorite, your engagement or marriage
day special. And a few favorites of your kidos on which they’d do a jig,
throwing up their hands in the air and shaking their cute little unstable
booties.
Good music often works like a time machine. Especially with
the ones you have connection, such numbers take just a few seconds to transcend
you to those times immemorial. Such is the power of music.
