Take a leap of Faith…

In life often comes a phase, when all you can do is take a leap of faith.

Situations and people might turn you down. Future might appear really dicey and distorted. Confusions might clutter your head and emotions might go haywire. Temperament is gone for a ride and you wish to be impulsive in your moves. Such times ask you to hold on…act practically and sensible. Be mature and hold on. Like all other times, tough times also die their own-sweet-death. But mostly when you nearing the end of such times, you find it all the more hard to carry on.

Believe in yourself, think positive, thank for all the goodness in your life and take a leap of faith…

Do you indulge in Mindless Shopping???

We know how you love shopping.
Yes! We also know it is quite a stress buster.
There are times when spending a few bucks, give you joy unknown. But you must not indulge in mindless shopping.

Shopping and mindless! You don’t quite seem to agree…
Well then think over a few questions…

  •  Are you an impulsive shopper?
  •  Do you have enough stuff in your cupboard that is lying useless ever since you bought it?
  • You never find the right occasion to sport any of those buys, which are doing nothing much but taking over the space in your cupboard or shelf, etc.
  • You end up spending more that its worth.
  •  You have doubts when purchasing something but you buy it anyhow.
  • You never check what is already lying with you and end up buying it again.
  •  More than needing anything, you crave for shopping it.
  • You go out looking for something but buy something else instead.

If you couldn’t stop nodding your head or even agreed to 4 of the above, you do indulge in mindless shopping. Not much harm, if you don’t love or value your money and if you have enough space in your wardrobe and home to fill it with useless stuff. After all you love shopping…

But we hope you are not planning to run an export hut either ;)

So, next time you shop be mindful of your needs. List them. Prioritize them. Fix a budget. Know the utility and suitability of events and occasion where you can sport them. And when you are in doubt, detach yourself and move out of the shop, if that dress or shoe or bag, still keeps coming back in your thoughts…only then go buy it.

Give life a chance to surprise you!

You have expectations from people, situations. You want everything your way. You also make an effort, go an extra mile to make things fall in place. You know who are the most important people in your lives. Each moment in your life, you give it direction because you don’t want to leave everything on fate and sit like a loser without trying. Definitely you are a warrior. A great person who has a strong will. You have not just big dreams but also power to turn them to reality.

But sooner or later in life there will be times when life runs crazy, without bounds. You give your might to control but the current and flow is high and powerful. You have been trying to make things perfect but they might be taking an unknown, unseen turn and going otherwise.

In such times, give your self a break. Slow down the controller in you, stop acting like a mad person going panicky. Often it is not about giving up but giving in and going with the flow. You’ve done the best in your capabilities; you can’t keep hanging in the middle of nowhere. Just play a sport with this phase. Because most of the times the way out of a situation in not by resisting it but through it. So go on. And have faith that all will be fine. This too shall pass. Trust the ways of life. Give it a chance to surprise you!

Make a great start to a good day and make it now!

Often your day goes the way you start it. If you are happy and positive, going by your schedule, doing your morning duties well and come across nice-smiling faces, it definitely has a similar impact on your day. You feel good and the same signals are transmitted to your brain, further releasing certain enzymes and hormones, to react in a similar fashion. However, there are days that may turn out to be the other way round. I’d call them differently challenging days.

Each of us has these days packed in our lives. While we expect all days to be good, the differently challenged days make our lives exciting. These days create the waves in our otherwise, straight lined lives. And because of them we explore a few hidden talents, powers and capabilities, which make us an improved version of our operating system. Quite like up gradation alerts, differently challenging days do pop up frequently but most of the times they do not have remind me later option. But if we have control over our heads and are able to detect such days and change the resistance in our attitude to that of welcoming one, we can reap the best out of such days too.

It is important not to react brainlessly in days of tough times, but to handle them tactfully with a change in attitude. Make a start to your day now, don’t wait for a miracle to make you feel good. Be on your own, train your head and hit the restart button to make a fresh start now.

Have a good day! And a great start!

Comfort is the new style…

You are a great follower of trend. An absolute shopaholic! You’ve been gazing all the cine-stars on the red carpets and green carpets for their latest drapes and dresses. Excited to dress like a diva for a nearing function or a party at a friend’s…you land at the most renowned stores for shopping.

But wait…have you been shopping just style or comfort too???

Shelling out money on trend is worth it but not at the cost of comfort. Whatever you buy, ensure it’s more like you, so while you carry it off in style you are also absolutely comfortable in it. Of course you can’t carry that uncomfortable expression all through the event and let your priced possession stay in your wardrobe with no further use. Remember style is important, but comfort is prime, which makes ‘comfort the new style’…

Happy shopping!
