We know how you love shopping.
Yes! We also know it is quite a stress buster.
There are times when spending a few bucks, give you joy
unknown. But you must not indulge in mindless shopping.
Shopping and mindless! You don’t quite seem to agree…
Well then think over a few questions…
- Are you an impulsive shopper?
- Do you have enough stuff in your cupboard that is lying useless ever since you bought it?
- You never find the right occasion to sport any of those buys, which are doing nothing much but taking over the space in your cupboard or shelf, etc.
- You end up spending more that its worth.
- You have doubts when purchasing something but you buy it anyhow.
- You never check what is already lying with you and end up buying it again.
- More than needing anything, you crave for shopping it.
- You go out looking for something but buy something else instead.
If you couldn’t stop nodding your head or even agreed to 4
of the above, you do indulge in mindless shopping. Not much harm, if you don’t
love or value your money and if you have enough space in your wardrobe and home
to fill it with useless stuff. After all you love shopping…
But we hope you are not planning to run an export hut either
;)
So, next time you shop be mindful of your needs. List them. Prioritize
them. Fix a budget. Know the utility and suitability of events and occasion where
you can sport them. And when you are in doubt, detach yourself and move out of
the shop, if that dress or shoe or bag, still keeps coming back in your
thoughts…only then go buy it.
Hi Divya - in response to your comment on my blog, I'm actually 17 myself so I'm not really doing anything to look younger :)
